ROAD COMPENSATION ACT. UPUBLIC NOTICE.

V IIEBEAS a Commission has been isued, directed to us. under

and by virtue of an Act passed in the fourteenth year of the reign of Her present Majesty Queen Victoria, entitled “An Act to regulate the laying out and altering of Highways,” and in

the Acts in amendment thereof; whereby we are commanded to .

enquire what damage or advantage will accrue to those persons who are interested in the Land through which a certain new road is intended to be made, commencing at the southern termination of the present road through Bay Fortune Settlement,and terminat- ing at the shore at Howe Bay, and which road will run through or over the lands of James Dingwoll and Charles Dingwell.

Now we do hereby give Public Notice to all parties concerned, that we will commence the execution of the said Commission, by attending at the aforesaid place. on MONDAY, the 27th day of AUGUST next, at the hour of Eleven o’clock. in the forcnoon of the same day, and will proceed along the proposed line ofroad and complete said Commission according to law. .
