to be humorous, why not give up the pretense of being a newspaper. Are there no students at UPEI with_real problems? Are students not effected by unemployment and inflation? Foreign ownership of our country's resourses, the arms race, wars, poverty, civil liberty, etc, etc.

It would seem that there is a concious effort to ' keep this paper stupid and irrelevant.‘ With the exception of Stan Daltons column, "letters from exile,"which I must com— pliment you on. Your paper could be an alternative to the big business owned and controlled media. If anyone wants to read garbage let them go to their nearest magazine rack. They will find a vast selection there.
