The late Patrick Power, ex-M. P. — and colleague of Hon A G Jones in the representation of Halifax County in the House of Commons trom 1867 to 1872, and from 1874 to 1878—lett by will a large amount of money for the establishment of a Catholic reformatory in Halifax.
