Naturally, nearly all the citizens turned out to see the much talked of street lights, and believe me it was a grand sight, the lights were on and shining good and bright, but. old Luna put- up a grand fight. for supremacy. The writer 111 common. with the rest; of the residents tool-t a stroll out, to see the long expected, lights and this idea occurred to me; whilst. listening 1,0 the comments. and criticism. that. the first Lung the people of OLeai-y should have done the instant the light came on was tn give three rousing good cheers for the gentleman who did this grand thing for 0'Leary. I mention with respect the name Mr. Frederick Champion.

Mr. Champion is deserving of’ praise and encouragement, also firi- anclal backing and support. and by1 this I don't mean anything except" patronage. He is also deserving of ’ praise in large ...:asure.
