What's On At the Panther Lounge

Ever want to relax, close your eyes and let all your troubles float away? Just come to the Barn Thursday, September 24, and let the Amazing Santini put you in a hypnotic trance. When you wake up you won’t remember quacking like a duck, playing an imaginary violin, or jumping up and down like an idiot. Come see the Amazing Santini do some marvellous things and have a few laughs. It's another wet/ dry event so we can get everyone in on the fun. Next Thurs- day, October Ist, the Barn will present The Rubber Chicken Show. This wacky comedy group is asure crack up and loads of laughs. You’ll probably go home with a sore tummy or wake up with a throbbing headache! (The bartenders hope its the latter.) Well ,Wayne and Garth came and went last Friday, and what a blast. The Senior Class 50/50 draw winner was Junior Gallant. Congrats Junior! He was the winner of over sixty dollars, not a bad way to spend a Friday afternoon! Sean Connery asa doctor who discovers a primitive cure for cancer. The following Friday’s movies (Oct. 2nd) will be Final Analysis and Prince of Tides. So pencil in the Barn on Fridays for great movies, chances at winning the 50/50 and free movie rentals and all the popcorn you can eat. Saturday (Sept 26) is New Music Night at the Barn. Bands from Halifax, Fredericton, Moncton and Charlottetown (eleven in total) will be starting at 7:00 pm and playing till close. Ticket sales have been going really well and tickets are available from CIMN disc jockeys and at the Student Union during office hours. Labatt Jam Night has started again and will be on every Wednesday night for the rest of the semes- ter. Check out the great beer specials on Jam Nights and on Thursdays till 10 o’clock.
