Mr. Huntington's health had been failing during the past year, and for s me weeks previeus to his death he had been compelled to retire from journalistic work. His terse and incisive editorials upon leading public questions were marked features of the Tribuive, while his excellent literary taste and general knowledge of current history were always apparent in his writings.
