C. Harvey, Halifax, and her sister, Miss Margaret, were visiting their brother, D.R.C. Harvey in Toronto. On Wednesday Miss Joyce became suddenly ill and was rushed to the hospital where she passed away the follomng day.-S_

“The eldest girl had a great friend who had Tuberculosis, and who, instead of going to the Sana- rcriuln as advised, did not take proper rest or precautions to pro- rcct others. She finally had to give up and go to bed. but it was too late to save her friend from Tub- erculosis. This fldest girl of the happy family, a girl of sixteen years, developed a chest cold that riiri not. clear up. She became .. cd_ disinterested in school, and ‘had no energy to join ln the fun of the other young people. Her parents took her to their family doctor. who ordered a chest X- I-iau It was found that this girl had active Tuberculosis in a mod- rratcly advanced condition and
