-ENJOYABLE PLAY - The summerside Baptist Players pre- sented their three-act comedy "The Eager Miss Beaver" in the DLeary Commu Hall on Thursday evening ay 22, spons- bred by the fir-iutrford World Wide Guild. The Bummerelde players are noted for the excel- lence of their performances. and this year's play was certainly one of the best. The able cast kept the audience in use one mo- ment and shaking with laughter the next. It was a splendid even- ing's entertainment and congratu- lations are due the director, Mr. Elmer Waugh, and all the mem- bers of the cast. The players were entertained at the Parsonage at the close. The Enmore W.I. held a chicken and ham supper in the school on Wednesday evening. May 14. A large crowd came and did ample justice to the good food provided and a substantial sum was realiz- ed. I Alter supper the young folk went to the hall and spent an hour dancing to the music of Thane and Russell Ellis on violin and guitar.

The regular meeting of the Rose Valley W.I. was held at the home oi Mrs. Jas. Cousins on May 7. The meeting opened with the "Creed" in unison followed by the roll call, which was responded to by eight members. Four visitors were present. .

He is spending his visit with his sister,-Mrs. Harry Campbell and his brother. Mr. Gordon Campbell at the old Campbell home. Warm greetings were exchanged although the visitors observed that a. visit to the cemetery revealed more famil- iar names than were on hand.
