To rem- edy this situation, it_ gives us great pleasure, as we sit under the non— grandstand and gaze at the structure, to announ- Ce the first Annual Cadre Name The New Residence Contest. Even MacAdam Field has a name, for crying out loud, and there's talk of naming the- scaffolding next to it Mulligan Mountain. The new Residence definitely des— erves a name. we are call- ing it an annual conteSt, because we're quite sure that any name we come up with will not be accept- able, or will wear off» over the summer, or some— thing, and we'll have to go through the whole thing again next year. It'sr best to set up an ongoing system to cope with just such emergencies. Anyhow, the way to enter is to ’ scribble your choice on anything. There have already been a few names suggested, by the way. One is Denny's Folly, another Humphrey's Hangout. The worst suggestion so far is Mickey's Place. It's/easy

a daze, and wander out at the end in the same daze, and nobody was yelling at you about speaking up and stuff like that?)
This week there have been alot of major events that deserve mention: the rain, the fried baloney in the cafeteria, I beat Jerry MacDonald in ping-pong for my first lifetime win, Mike Connolly has a sore foot' that prohibits him from run- ning in the basketball con— ditioning work-outs, but doesn't keep him from pitch— ing and playing shortstop in intramural baseball (speaking of that, the Ed- ucation team won their first game behind the baserunning of Jim Fitzgerald, the fielding of Paul Durant, and the hitting of Wilfred Mullin - a spectacular spec— tacle.
