Death In Ottawa Of Mrs. Mary MacLean

Mrs. Mary Gertrude Mac- Lean. at 194 Carling avenue. widow of Dr. John. D. Mac- Lean, former premier of Brit- ish Columbia in 1927-28. died suddenly at her home Wednesday.

Born in Tara, 0nt., Mrs. Mac- Lean was educated there and at business college in Toronto. She married Dr. Macl..ean. who was once also a chairman of the Can- adinn Farm Loan Board. in Tara in 1911. They came to Ottawa in 1929.

Mrs. Macbean was a T oi St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church and of the board of the Elizabeth Residence. .

Surviving are three sons. Roder- ick MncLean of Ottawa, Dr. John MacLean of Toronto, and Dr.
