Ho was at his of- fice yesterday and passed away about 2 o’cloclr, shortly after he returned home. A heart condi- tion hpd troubled him for about two years. . Albert Edmund Toombs was a native of this city. a son of the late Edmund Toontbs, grocer on Great George Street. and his wife. Jane Plckard. ' As a young man Mr. Toombs was em loyed with Miller Bros. music s re. More than 25 years ago he went into business for himself and since then his store became. known throughout the Province.
