General Order. BY HIS EXCELLENCY THE COMMANDER-IN-CHIEF.
3rd at Highland Queen’s Co. Regiment of Militia.— The General Order of the 4th March, 1867. is hereby cancelled, and the following will be the District limits and numerical order of the several Companies of the above Regiment :—
No. l—Capt. Malcolm Nicholson.—-Orwell River, Orwell Cove, and West of Gill’s Mills. including Lower Newton District School to Portree Creek and Stewart’s Brook.
No. 2—Captain Donald McDonald—Point Prim to the road leading from Widow Nicholson’s to McAulay’s Wharf.
No. 3—Captain Angus McRae—East of the road leading from Widow Nicholson's to McAulay’s Wharf, and West of Portree Creek and Stewart’s Br00k, in- cluding Eldon, to Pinette Mills.
No. 4—Captain William Findlay—East from Orwell Head to County line, and Murray Harbor Road and Orwell Woods to Malcolm McLeod’s mills, Green Marsh.
No. 5.—Capt. James Conley.-—-Uppcr Newton Dis- trict School, east of Anderson’s mills and Montague Road, east of Hector McEachern’s, and Valley Road to Garloch.
No. 6-»Capt. Angus Martin.-—-—South of Malcolm Mc- Leod’s mills, Green Marsh, to County line, the new Caladonian Settlement, Ronay and Culoden Settle- ments.
No. 7—Capt. George Young—South of the north branch of Pinette River to the new Selkirk Road. in- cluding Sunie District School and Upper Wood Island Road to Millvell Road, and north of French Mill Creek and Garloch Settlement.
No. 8-—Capt. William Ross—South of the south branch of Pinette River to south boundary line of Mal- colm Beaton's farm, Flat River Head, including Rasay District School on the Upper Wood Island Road.
No. 9—-—Ca t. Rode rick Mu‘nn.-——From Flat River Head to the ounty line at Widow Beaton’s, including the Burnt Wood and Pleasant Valley Settlements.
_ The Captains rendered supernumerary by this alter- ation are transferred to the Sedentary Militia.

Ordered. That the following Resolutions. adopted by the House this day, be inserted once in all the New»- papers published in Charlottetown :

Resolved, That the sum of Three thousand pounds be granted and placed at the disposal of the Govern- ment, to be advanced in sums not exceeding four pounds to any one individual, to parties whose circum‘ stances of destitution are such, that they cannot obtain or purchase suflicient Seed Grain for their farms. The same to be divided as follows: Nine hundred pounds to each County. and Three hundred pounds in hands of the Government, to meet special cases and emergen- cies; one or more Committees to be appointed in each Road District, to whom shall be entrusted the distribu- tion of the amount allotted to the District. The re-pay- ment of the several sums advanced to be secured by jointnotes, payable to the Treasurer, with interest at six per cent., on the first day of December next, and the several amounts, when due, to be payable to such person or persons as the Government, from time to time, shall appoint. The Lieutenant Governor in Council. if they think fit, may raise the said sum of Three thousand pounds by issuing Debentures. charge- able on the Public Funds of this lsiand, payable at such time as the Government shall appoint, and bearing in- terest at a rate not exceeding 81X per cent. per annum.
Resolved, That the sums of Nine hundred pounds. granted by the last preceding Resolution, to be distri- buted in each County, to assist destitute perons in pur- chasing Seed Grain. be divided between the several Road Districts thereof, as follows :—
