NTIC UNIVERSITIES' BLOOD DONOR COMPETITION

D0 YOU”KNOW that there is,

a very special Blood Donor Trophy up "for grabs" ” among the Atlantic Univer- sities each year?? '

This Competition is con- ducted on the simple basis of the number of blood do- nations obtained each year‘ in relation to the total student enrollment.

This coveted trophy of hand-crafted bird‘s eye maple,-has been Won by

different Universities in—’

cluding the former St. N 'Dunstan's on two occasions, Mount Allison, St. F.X., U.P.E.Io for 1970-71, and Nova Scotia Technical In- stitute for 1971-72.

- This is "Centennial Year" in P.E.I.! Our goal for the Blood Donor Clinics at .U.P.E.I. Gym on Tues., Oct. 16th from 7-9, and on wed., the 17th from 10—12 noon and 2-4 is AT LEAST 360 units of blood! Let's assume our full respons- ibilities to provide this "MIRACLE FLUID" so urgently needed by so many by being either CONORS or BOOSTERS, go "Over the.top" on our quota, and bring that ATLANTIC UNIVERSITY BLOOD DONOR TROPHY back to UPEI,. as a "CENTENNIAL PROJECT"!
