Notes now afloat or in circulation, which have from time to time been issued from the Treasury of this Island, under and by virtue of the several Acts or Laws of this Colony, authoris- ing the issue of Treasury Notes, are called in; and all per- sons holding the same, are required to present them at my Office for the purpose of having them exchanged for Notes of new a improved design, in the terms of the Act, 10 Vic. RAINBOW. HIS beautiful and well-bred Horse RAIN-

BOW is rising three years old, stands full 16 hands high, was got by “Columbus,” and for splendid action, high spirit, size, and beautiful symmetery, is admitted by all who have seen him to be unrivalled in Prince Edward Island. His dam, owned by the Subscriber, stands 16 hands high, is well propor- tioned, possessing great strength and activity, high spirit, and is admitted to bea first-rate animal, and not to be excelled as a breeding Mare by any on Prince Edward Island. He is of the Greenuick breed, and from the same Mare as the Superior Horse IsLanpER, formerly owned by Mr. McKie. He will be allowed to cover but a limited number this season. He will stand regularly once a fortnight at the following places,—Com- mencing at Sutherland’s Head of St.Peter’s Bay, on Monday and Tuesday the 15th and 16th May; at Souris Harbour on Thurs- day and Friday the 18th and 19th May; the remainder of the time at the Subseriber’s. ‘Terms, Cash, L1 each Mare, and good Notes of hand, payable in October next, L1 2s. 6d., not including Groom’s Fees.
