On Thursday. April 14th. a ser- vice was conducted in ‘Trinity Church for the late Mr. William ‘Alfred Alley who suddenly passed away at his post of duty on Tues- day, April 12th. The service was conducted by Dr. William E. Dud- ley and Dr. H. C. R-ice- Mr. Allef was born in Cardigan, P. E. I. in lthe year 1888 and served in the mail service oi the Dominion ior thirty one years. I-le is survived by his wife the iormel‘ Emma Living- stone. his son Charles Melville, and one sister, Mrs. Hazel Melville oi’ Melrose, Mass, George Earle, an elder son was killed in action in World War" No. II.
