Our worthy J. P., Mr. Brennan, has re- turned, after a trip of some weeks in the neighboring Provinces, and was at once employed in some assault cases between Sherlock and the Forsyth brothers for smashing windows and disorderly conduct. The cases were disposed of by dividing the costs. Both complainant and defendant proved to be disorderly, the breaking of the windows rot being proved.
