He left his native land early in life and took up the ministry.

He Joined the East Maine Con- ference in 1892 and was always true to the trust committed to him. Ha held pastorates in the following laces: Ashland, Maple- ton. Wash urn. Hartland, St. Al- bans, East Corinth and Corinth, Gutlford. Vlnalhaven, Union, Danforth, Danforth and Weston, Caribou and oodlands, Palin. Machias. Calais, Knight Memorial and Winthrop, retiring in i936.
