Once again folks, for the last time this semester, it’s time to let you know what’s happening in the best society on campus. No, it’s not the society for free parking, it’s the Sociology/ Anthropology society. There are a few things to take note of before it’s too late, so here is a glimpse at just what exactly is happening.

First of all, I noticed the PSS is interested in a 4th floor Main Christmas party. I can vouch, dear neighbours, that you have our whole-hearted support in the deal. It would be a dandy time indeed! Keep your eyes open for posters advertis- ing this event.

Secondly, this is going to be one of your last chance to sign up to get a society jacket. Sign-ups are in the lounge. Alas, if not enough people are interested, the plan will be scrapped. Sign up now!

Also, in order for us to decide the best time to hold meetings, the next meeting will be help Friday December 1, at 1:30 in the Soc/Anth lounge. As always, please attend to become more informed as to what is happening. It’s your society and any comments, criticisms, or just plain chat is welcome. See you there.

A very quick note to Political Studies majors and minors. The much anticipated Christmas Party is to take place Friday December Ist, from 7-12 pm on fourth floor Main. The party is in conjunction with the Philosophy and Soc/Anth socie- ties. People are invited to bring CDs and food, some beverages will be provided. Stay tuned to your email for any late breaking information. Please come on out and join in the merriment (a direct order from Dictator Henderson and his Hench- men).

Events of the week: Bouchard announces plans to be Premier. Gun control legislation passed days later...you make the connection!

It’s in point form, sorry for my lapse in reporting (you know the usual student complaints).

Christmas festivities (in Bernardine -- it’s a bias, I know)

-- secret Santa

-- lounge and door decorating

-- floor parties

Jumpathon -- Wednesday through Thursday to raise money for the United Way. It’s on a trampoline in the field by Subway (if that doesn’t get your curiosity, nothing will!). You must see it to believe it!

The Great Flood of 1995

-- memorial donations to the toilet of 419 and 420 can be left at Bernardine Hall. The use of 419 and 420 as swimming pools is no longer possible. The entrepreneur who wanted to charge for a look and her partner who wanted to bottle the water and sell it, must now find another way to pay for university Hopefully, the leakages onto 2nd and 3rd floor provided a cleansing function (not enough to charge admission or bottle, though). Apology for the brief nature of this report, but you just would not believe the work I have. . . I know you have heard it all before. From all students in residence to all others, best of luck with exams, have a great Christmas (I know I can’t wait to sleep) and see you in January.
