Trlnlty Mission Band Closing

Trinity Social Hall was filled to capacity to witness. the clos- ing service of worship and Pro- gram of the Mission Band on Wed- nesday evening at 7.30.

The first part of the program took the form of a regular Band meeting. giving a demonstration of the efficiency of the officers and members. The president. Doris Clark, presided and in the wor- ship service. Joan MacKinnon read the Bible reading; Harvey Mooliinnon led in pra er; Joan Rogcrson gave an ou e of the’ life of one of our P.E.I. Mission- aries. Miss Illma. Inman; Douglas Clark led in prayer for Miss In- man; Joan Storey read an item on hfalth and all repeated the peace p c.

Miss Marie McDougaIl gave a review of the year's study book. "Tommy Two-Wheels” and told of the program of the Mission Band, including the handwork which was on display. She emphasized the importance of the Mission Band in the Christian education program of the Church and urged the parents to give their children the privilege of this Christian training. .

Joan Rogerson presided during the program which was as foll- lows: Ear-line Layers, a. reading “Foreign Girls"; Jean MacDonald sang "Jesus Bids Us Shine"; Ena Engel and Wilma Taylor. readings; Ernestine Mills sang “Jesus Love Me"; Doris Clark and Harvey MacKinnpn. readings; Maids Rogerson, a "Tell Me the Stories of Jesus"; Betty Henderson, Joan MacKin- non and Douglas Clark, readings; Elaine Gill, “The New Canadian" Edith Brown, "World Friends"; |Douglas and Doris Clark. a vocal
