MISREPRESENTATION CORRECTED,

Mr. Neil S. McKenzie, of West River, and other electors in West Queen’s have been imposed upon by a statement to the effect that Sir Charles Tupper had to apologise on account of a eharge be had made concerning Mr. Sifton. This state- ment is an ipjarious misrepresentation of fact. The whole truth about the matter is cet forth in a letier from Hon. Hugi Joho Macdonaid to one of his electers in Brandon coacerning the Tupper Sifton meeting as tollows :

Sir Hibsert Tupper also showed that Mr. Sifton had been eharged by Mr. Philp with being secretly intereeted, slong: wiih M«j r Walsh, in dredging leases, granted by Sifton, as Min ster of Iaterior.
