LOUIS LORTIE LEADS LEAGUE. ‘

For the first time in our menory, our hockey Panthers have. dominated the league scoring race. With the regular season having been completed, league statistics show that our guys finished first, second and tied for third and twelfth.

leading the way was the flashy Iouie lortie. Just a freshman, this crowd favorite broke two U.P.E.I. scoring records en route to beccming the first Panther ever to win the scoring race. Scoring a record 23 goals and 47 pcints, Louie has turned out to be one of, the most explosive- and exciting 1 players eVer to, play at our campus.

DavidCamercn, despite being injured, finished second with a record 30 assists and 43 points.

We were very sorry to see him standingflxere on Sunday instead of playing but We know he Will be 7 back next year. He is as hard a worker and as smart

Ken Ozman,Dean of Arts,in an interview with the SUN stated that the 6th‘annual Deans Dinner will be held Wednesday,Marchv22nd at the Rodd Motor Inn.

It =lppears that this annual event has been added to the growing list which has been affected by Uni- versity cutbacks.

A number of students who made the Deans List will not 'beinvited this year,

increasing cost of puttong on such an event.

’mere will also be a marked decrease in the number of invited guests. Chairpersons from each Academic department,the President,Registrar and the three Deans will be invited but very few others from the University comm- unity.
