Recession says "no" to Cancun Island

Every year during the February break students have the chance to spend more than a few dollars and enjoy a vacation. This year destinations are Quebec, Florida, and Tropical islands.

Taking a look atthe colourful ads for vacations, | decided to call two of the promotions people. When | called about Daytona Beach trip I found out that about 43 UPEI students are headed south. Daytonaisa popular choice and looks like there is no room for

that trip.

The same cannot be said for Cancun Island, The girl I called told me that Cancun is a Mexican island that is pretty well known, and she said she had to cancel the trip as not enough people signed up. Michelle blames the recession for the cancellation.
