Ir is pleasing to learn that Mr. Callaghan, of the Regietry Office, has been employing his jeisure hours towards the development here of the, sugar beet enterprise. According to a statement published by the Patriot, Mr. Callaghaa has, for some tire past, been in corres~ pondence with the Jetleraon Beet Sugar Compsny, of Waterton, New York, and
