The bill to amend the Liquor Control Act. now due. for second reading in the Legislature. is of in- terest chiefly in View of the prow vision it makes for the sale and consumption on the premises of liquor in properly licensed clubs. dining rooms. military canteens and lounges.

This legislation is in accord with the laws now in effect in most parts of Canada and the. United States. and provides the usual safeguards against abuse of their privilege by licensees. through cancellation or suspension of licenses by the.
