The Psych Dept. will be having a Christmas Party, Dec. 4, inthe Psych Lounge.

There will be an important Psych meeting Monday, Nov. 30th at 4:00 in the Psych Lounge. Pizza may be served.

WOMEN’S CONSTITUENCY GROUP UPDATE

The group, which meets every Sunday at 6:00 pm in Main 2) has been working on several projects since its formation it October. One of the main objectives of the group is to compl a proposal for a Women’s Center on campus. Requests fy information about funding, etc, have been sent to Women’ Centers at other universities across Canada, We are Current) reviewing the replies and drafting a proposal based on them,

As well, the group is working in conjunction with the Studey Union on the December 6th Memorial Service to commemorat, the Montreal Massacre.

Josie Herring has been busy contacting other Canadian univer. Sities regarding the existence and use of gender neutral lan. guage policies on other campuses.

Recently, information about the White Ribbon Campaign wa: given to the group and was passed on to Norm Collins, presiden of the Philosophy Club, who has offered to organize this cam. paign.

Each week, the group meets fora discussion and update on the progress made on these projects. As well, we discuss new ideas, debate current issues, and host interesting guest speakers. || this sounds interesting to you, check us out in the New Year.

If anyone has pictures that they would like to see appear in this year’s yearbook, likea party, some amazing event that only happens once or just to puta picture of your favorite friend in: just chop them by the yearbook office. You will receive your

pictures back or youcould give us the negatives and we will get the picture.
