His long and continuous absence from the Island disqualifies him for eccur- ate discussion of current local topics. He goes to Belfast and Murray Harbor be- cause he is supposed to hold in his banda contracts and offices which he may bestow on those whose zeal in the coming elec- tion «6Cwill” =srise «=6to 6a auitable level.
