SPORTING METHODS

The catching or killing of Sal- mon, Speckled or Brook Trout, and Rainbow Trout is restricted to angling. Angling for Salmon is restricted to the use of artificial flies. MW any undersized Salmon, Grisle or any ‘‘spent’’ Salmon is caught inadvertently, it .shall, if possible, be returned alive and uninjured to the water from which it was taken by the person catch- ing it.

It is unlawful, states the De- partment, to jig for amy game fish.Use torches or other artifi- cal lights in fishing for or catch- ing Salmon or trout.

Trout export is prohibited. How- ever, it is provided that, any non resident fishing in waters of the Province may, upon leaving the Province, take away the lawful catch of two days fishing, if the shipment is accompanied by a certificate to that effect from
