The Mormon Probiem.

The Mormons must go, that is if reason able efforts are made to enforce the law that has just passed the lower house of Congress. Recent prosecutions have con- siderably shaken the power of the Mormon leaders, which should now'soon disappear. With the practice of the distinguishing doctrine of their church Ceclared a felony that their wives may be put in the box to prove against them, themselves deprived political power, put under a test when they offer to vote, and the administration of justice in the hands of their enemies, they will be unable to longer maintian their practica! rebellion against the laws of the country, while the dissolution of their ehurch, financial organization and emigra tion society will deprive them of the power of recraiting their forces from European nations, so that it seems at last that the existence of Mormonism within its bounds will soon cease to be a reproach to the United States.
