Mr. Artemas G. Sims, to be Keeper of the Bonded Ware- house, in Charlottetown, in the place of Mr. John P. Tanton.

Mr. Job Bevan, to be a Preventive Officer and Land Waiter, at Charlottetown, in the place of Mr. George Munroe.

Mr. Michael Tray/nor, to be a Preventive Officer and Land Waiter, at Charlottetown, in the place of Mr. William Paul.

‘ HEREAS the Writs for the periodical Election of one

Member for each of the Electoral Districts of this Island, to serve in the Legislative Council, were returnable on the TWENTY-FIRST day of JANUARY last; and the Writs for the Election of Members to serve in the House of Assembly for the several Electoral Districts. and Towns, and Royalties of this Island, are returnable on WEDNESDAY, the TWENTIETH day of MARCH, instant:

I have thought fit, by and with the advice of Her Majesty’s Executive Council, to issue this. my Proclamation, and give notice, that I have appointed THURSDAY, the EIGHTEENTH day of APRIL next, for the meeting of the General Assembly of this Island .

FOR THE DESPATCH OF BUSINESS-

And I do hereby require the Members of the said Legisla- tive Council and Assembly to attend in General Assembly, on the said EIGHTEENTH day of APRlL next, whereof they, and all others concerned, are desired to take notice and govern themselves accordingly.

WHEREAS by a. resolution of the House of Asembly, passed on the 14th day of April, 1863, it was resolved that the initiation of all Money Votes should be with the Executive.

Notice is hereby given that all applications for MONEY GRANTS. for Roads, Bridges, Wharfs, &c., and all Petitions for grants in aid of any object whatsoever, which parties may desire to submit to the Legislature at its next annual Session, are required to be sent into this Office on or before the 5th day of April next.
