HoTe.s.—ExPvLanatTion.—We fear that our remarks on Hotel accouunodation (first published in the Town Edition of our last No.) were mis- understood by many persons, and we find that vur friend of the Vindicator is one of those who did not comprehend our meaning. It seems to be supposed that we are hostile to the establish- ment of a new and large Hotel. Such a suppo- sition im quite a mistake. We should be very glad to see a large edifice erected here for the secommedation of travellers, domestic and fo- reign,—-we vote for public mprovements of all hinds, at all times, and in all places, eape- cially steamboats, hotels, railways, and stage coaches,— and we would be amongst the very last to discourage an enterprising capita- lat frow erecting o large Hotel in this City.
