Nealon traded 368,000 shares and was unchanged at 6 cents after gaining two cents. New Rosco gained five cents at $1.68 on rumors of an underwriting. It traded 187,350 shares.

On index base metals were the big losers and they were down less than one-half point. Golds and western oil-s lost less than one-quarter.

Changes among base metals and golds were fractional with losses and gains about balancing. In western oils Calgary and Ed- monton gained c at 30% but Pa- cific Pete was off it, Home Oil B, % and Royal-ﬁe %.

Index losses: golds .22 to 84.28; base metals .47 to 104.97; west- ern oils .26 to 137.55.
