Mr. McEntee, Director of Security of UPEI, states that the university must comply with the liquor control act of Prince Edward Island.

The student union Panther Lounge (a.k.a. the Barn) is the most obvious drinking establishment on campus, although Marriot Food Company is also licensed to sell liquor at specificareas on campus. If either of these companies fail to follow the Liquor Control Act, they maybe fined
