The Black Business and Professional Association -this award is given to the person who has shown achievement and commitment to the development of the Black community -the deadline date is... November 29

Provincial IODE Scholatship -open -must be in sophomore year with good academic achievement with a financial need. -the award amount is $900 -the deadline date is...November 15

The Terry Fox Humanitarian Awards Program -open -selection criteria is based on demonstration of the highest ideals and qualities of citizenship and humanitarian service while a pursuit of excellence in their academic amateur, sports, fitness, health, community service and related endeavours. -the award amount is $3000 for a maximum of 4 years -the deadline date is... February 1st (I am advertising this early because of the dollar amount and because of the work that is needed to complete the application)
