The absence of a public nurse and the difficulty in reaching medical assistance has left the people of Entry island. the smallest of the Magdelen Group. in a sorry plight.

The letter states that the island has a population of about M0 consisting of 42 families. all Protestant of the Anglican Faith. There are about 81 child- ren below the age of 14.
