Halifax Man Draws $20 Fine

A resident of Halifax drew a Gne of $20 and costs or 30 days when he appeared in mazgistrate’s court Monday facing a charge of unlawful possession of liquor.

Three other cases that faced Magistrate Gilbert A. Gaudet, Q.C. dealt with traffic violations. A York resident was fined $5 and costs for failure to stop at a stop sign. A city man drew a $10 and eosts fine for speeding and a North River man, charged with operating a motor vehicle with improper equipment was fined $5 aad costs.
