Urges Income Tax Change For Fishermen

OTTAWA. Sept. l8 - (OP)- Flshermen. like farmers. for income tax purposes should be allowed to spread their incomes over a period of three years. JL Gibson (Ind- Comox-Albemi) suggested today in the Commons.

Mr. Gibson said fishermen had some good years and some bad and this was a bad year for some on the West Coast. Because of this he felt some change should be made in the system of compiling their income tax.

He called for , 1 income tax and excess profits tax reductions.
