Approximately 35 people 5howed up for the 4th general senior class meeting. Many subjects were dis- cussed and some decisions were reached. I will give a brief summary of events of that meeting.

The possibility of an anti—calendar has been men— tioned between faculty exe— cutive and student union executive as well as other areas of faculty—student re— lations. Nothing definite has resulted but hopefully something more concrete will be done next semester ( that is if we have a stu- dent union next semester).

There was a great deal of discussion on convocation speaker. Ken Doiron pre- sented the recommendations from his committee for "convocation speaker. After voting on each speaker, the

The meeting gave final approval for the "Class of 77 Marathon Dance" to be held after Xmas. Within a couple of weeks details and rules will be issued so people can plan for this over Xmas holidays.
At the meeting the problem of finances was brought up. Practically group or organi- zation is short of money and we are no exception.
We feel though that the lottery and the marathon were a good start but that we have by no means solved the problems.
The Senior Week commit- tee will be meeting this week to develop a tenative schedual for Senior week which will
' be taken to the next general
meeting.
Another item mentioned at the meeting was that of attendance. the past it has been poor, for ex— ample 30/260. Those present at this meeting couldn't find an immediate solution.
In closing I would like to remind you that the 'Class of 77' is you class and if YOU become involved the whole claSs will benefit.
