3 egg whites (beaten stiff;

3 cups cake flour

1~2 cup milk

Vanilla or almond flavoring

Cream butter and sugar. Add dry ingredients alternately with water and milk. Pour in beaten egg whites last. Taike 1-3 of bat- her and color pink. Put into pan alternating colors. Bake one hour in moderate oven. Cover with boiled icing tinted pink.
