The members of Sterling W. I. were entertained at the home of Mrs. W.I. Green on Tuesday. March 10th when there were seven- teen members and three vtsitors in attendance.

The president, Mrs. Elmer Fyfe. pfealded and the meeting opened by singing "School Days" followed by the creed in unison.

Mrs. V.W. MacI..ean will enter- tain the members at the school for the April meeting when the roll call will be answered with a tea bag and by a suggestion on "How to celebrate our 40th anniversary." The program. committee will be Mrs. J. E. Hiscott and Mrs. Earl Henry. and the lunch committee will be Mrs. J. S. MacKay, Mrs. KR. MacKay, Mrs. Blois Mac- Ewen, Mrs. Lorne Macliiwen and Mrs. H.S. Macllwen. The collection was taken and amounted to the sum of 52.10.

The program committee took charge and the program consisted of two contests. One, "A part of the body” oontest. prepared by Mrs. Max Ferguson was won by Mrs. H.S. Maclifwen and Mrs. Elmer Fyfe, and another. ”Shamrock" drawing contest prepared by Miss Virginia Fleming was won by Mrs. Lorne Macliiwen and Mrs. W.I. Green.

Lunch was then served by the hostess and committee in charge, and the meeting closed with the "More We Get Together" and the National, Anthem,

The regular monthly meeting of Brackley Point W. I. was held on Thursday evening March 5th. at the home of Mrs. Gregor Mo. Callum with 12 members and one visitor in attendance.

The monthly meeting of King- ston W. I. which was held on March 5th at the home of Mrs. Wilbur Younker and attended by 11 members, was opened by re- peating the Island Hymn, followed by the Creed in unison.

Minutes of the last meeting were read, approved and signed. The sick and school committees had no reports. The committees were reappointed for next month.

-The regular monthly meeting of the sherbrooke women's Insti- tute was held at the home of Mrs. Martin Dabber on Thursday eve- ning, March 5th, with 16 members and two visitors present.

A thank you card from a bereaved family of the district acknowledg- ing receipt of a symfpathyv card was received. .

Correspondence which was read and discussed consisted of letters from Miss Mary Robin. supervisor. making an appeal for flood relief for Britain and Holland; from Mrs. Edward Laughlin, convener. of citi- zenship. on education in schools and a C. A. C. bulletin accompani- ed by a letter on the purchase and care of nylons. The membership of the secretary. Mrs. Eric Madson, was renewed in the C. A. C.

The Institute News was distri- buted and the members renewed their subscriptions. It was decided to hold an entertainment in the hall to help raise money for the flood relief fund.

The March meeting of the Cherry Valley Women's Institute was held'a.t the home of Mrs. John McLeod with a large attendance.

The president presided and the meeting opened with "Institute ode", followed by repeating the "creed" in unison. Roll call was responded to by 16 members and one visitor was present.

The regular monthly meeting of the Hampton W. I. was held at the home of Mrs. Wm. Myers on Monday March 9th, with an en- thusiastic group of ladies present.
