Or perhaps you would prefer a lighter type lunch of vegetable soup. a salad with cottage cheese. luncheon meat or a hard cooked egg. and a slice of bread or a roll. plus I beverage and fruit for dessert.

The toast to the bride was proposed by the groomsman. Mr. J.P. Nichol- son. to which the groom fittingly responded. ' For their honeymoon trip to New York and other American Cities, the bride wore a navy blue suit with navy and white accessories.

The hall was prettlly decorated with wedding bells, streamers and vases of roses. The bride's table was laid with n linen cloth, cen- tered with a centre piece of red roses with tall tapers in crystal holders. and a beautiful four-tier wedding cake which the happy couple cut in traditional manne.

Rev. Mr. Knicklc proposed the toast to the bride to which the Broom happily responded. Little Carol Ann Michael. niece of the groom was in charge of the guest book.

For their honeymoon in New York the bride chose an ensemble of a beige suit with matching topper. a small pink Milan straw hat, match- ing gloves and pink blouse, black patent purse and shoes and a cor- sage of pink roses.

Prior to her marriage the bride was a valued member of the staff of the Edison Electric Light and Power Company.

Guests were present from St. John, Sydney. Charlottetown and Amherst, Toronto, Kentvllle and Halifax.
