New York, Dec. 5.—On Thanksgiving evening Samuel J. Parkbil), 74 years of age, of Brooklyn, merried Misa Annie Kirkland, also of Brooklyn, who was 50 years his junior. Today Parkhill com- mitted suicide at his home in Brooklyn by shooting through tbe brain with a revolver. When they were married the families of both parties objected s'rongly on account of the disparity inthe ages. The couple were forced to separate and since that time Parkhill bad appeared eomewhrt depres sed. He lived with his married daughter and his son, and when the family were at church today he shot himself in his reom. His relatives give no reason for the suicide.
