In two regular baseball games of the Queen Square School Baseball League, tihe Red Box, under the ptiching of Jack Burke and Alan MacLeod and Jack MacConnackks ‘hitting, won both.

The scores of the games were, the first-Red Sox 13. D0088" 5. and the second, -Red Sox 6, Yankees 4.

In the first game, which was played on Wednesday, Joe Coyle pitched for the Dodgers but was ineffective as the Red Sox scored 13 runs to win handily.

The second encounter, which was played yesterday afternoon and which produced a. good brand on baseball, was only a five-inning tilt due to the lack of time. Allan MacLeod and Charlie Ready were the starting hurlers but neither was around at the last as Jack Burke took over for the winners and Gmmp Gillies for the losers.

Batteries for tihe first ‘games were Red Sex-Burke and Mac- Coimack, Coyle and MacDonald for Dodgers and for the second game, MacLeod, Burke and Mac- Conmack; Ready, Gillia and Mc- Callum. -
