A large number of relatives and friends gathered at the homo of the lato Mrs. W. H. Keefe. Rollo Bay, on August 18th. to pay tlielr last tribute of respect to one cf tho oldut and moat respected citizens of the community. Mrs. Keefe. formerly Margaret Helen Robertson, daughter oi the lace Mr. and Mrs. George Robertson was born at. librmington, P. E. I.- in tho year i863 and lived at Rollo Bay for over 64 years. Mil; Keefe was an ardent Christian and was a follower of the Lil-liter‘. Church at Bay Fortune, and‘ was noted for her amiable and chari- table disposition.

She was a sister of the late Dr. E. A. Robertson of Newton. Mass. who predeceased her a few years ago. The funeral services which were conducted by Rev. Mr. Mac- Quarrie of Souris. was largely al.- tonded by people from all uvas the Island and some from Nova Scotia.

The many floral tributes which were received from friends and relatives from all parts of P. L. I. and Nova Scotia and the U. S. A. showed the high esteem ir- whlch Mrs. Keefe was held. A- mong the many wreaths received was one from The Maritime Tele- graph and Telephone Co. of Dart- mouth and Halifax.

The hymns, ‘The Lord's My Shepherd. 00d Will Take Care of You, and Nearer My God to Thee. were rendered beautifully by mem- bers of the choirs of the Unltcu churches of Sourls and Bay‘ For» tune.

Heating and ventilating has been designed with a view to 0013.701 in local building areas. For e ample. the large area. of the gymnasium is heated by unit heaters which will be turned on shortly before the space is used. Similar controls are provided in connection with the ventilating system. The new bulld- l-ng sits provides natural light and ventilation for all rooms above ground level. as windows are placed on four sides. A light well in the centre of the building will provide considerable natural light and ven- tilation for inside rocms. A small heating unit has been installed for heating water for the showers and wash rooms during the warm months of the year. when the building heat is off.
