OTTAWA ICPI-An almost-in- Inllable electronic lure has been snatched from the hands of water- fowl hunters in Canada.

An electronic bird-calling device Art-ported capable of luring ducks geese and other waterfowl from distances of up to three miles to within the range of the hunter's gun-proved so effective in the United States it is being outlawed throughout Canada.

An order-in-council Wednesday amended the migratory bird regu- lations to make it unlawful for migratory game birds to be hunted "by use or aid of electrically- operated calling devices."

The order is a direct result of a demonstration here June 26 at Canada's federal-provincial wild- life conference of one of the coir troveraial devices.
