At seven last evening the west end of our charming city was in its usual repose- ful state. But ten minutes afterwards the scene began to change. A gang of small boys arrived. Then the indispensable yellow dog, snd another batch of small boys appeared, and that made a crowd. More people began to arrive and take up a position in front of Mr. Davies’ house. Presently the strains of the band were heard, and soon the musicians were on the scene, escorted by a couple of hundred more of small boys, some Prince of Wales students and some full-grown voters.
