New demo dropped by band will leave listeners wanting to hear more from the young band

Stemming from an escalating interest in music after a boom in bands emerging from across the Island, the natural occurrence is to see bands come and go.

Many so-called musicians picked up a guitar and began writing to no avail. With an attention span only measurable in nanoseconds many bands would soon die off, even with the powerful interest of music in the Charlottetown area.

Thankfully, The Right Crowd is not one of those bands.

With the dropping of their demo the usually spectacular performanc- es from the young group is brought to digital. And the crossover could- n’t be better.

The group brings forth a catchy sound with a sort of pop-punk, alternative wave which catches your ear and leaves you craving more.

Peering on the back cover over the songs featured on the disc, one name quickly stands out. The Right Crowd has a song called ‘The Right Crowd.’

Could it be this young band so succinctly named themselves after this song?Maybe. Maybe not.

But while one would be quick to scoff at such a thing, try to keep an open mind. There was, at a time, a band who did such a thing, and they’ve been declared as some of the pioneers of metal. A young band by the name of Black Sabbath

let the name fool you, this band is well on their way to changing the face of the ever-booming Charlottetown music scene.
