Normally, the application for the degree will be ma— de in the student's 8th semester.

6. Each department will set down its substantive requirements for a B.A. degree with a major in that discipline, and for a B.A. degree with minor concentration in its disc- iplineis), within the gen- eral guidelines of the Arts Faculty Curriculum.

7. Upon successful compl— etion of the substantive requirements for a degree, the student will be award- ed the appropriate B.A. by the University.

8. The B.A. with a major: For a B.A. degree with a major in a specific disci- pline, the student will present 20 "Papers" in his Dossier. Of these, at lea—
