The first district meeting in P. E. Island of the N. B. and P. E. Island branch of the W. M.S of the Methodist Church, wae held to-day in the parlors of the First Methedist Church in this city. The chair was taken at 10 a.m., Mra. Dr. Johnson presiding. The meeting was opened by singing ‘“‘Come Holy Spirit, Heavenly Dove,” after which prayer was offered by 4 uomber : f the sisters.
