Bird reports.

Bird sighting reports are still not coming in very often, but hope~ fully they'll pick up in the next few months. At a meeting in 1987 the membership decided to only print reports of birds g9; listed as very common or common in the P.E.I. Field Check—list of Birds. All you have to do is send in all your sightings, and I'll print the ones that fall in the other categories (fairly common to irregular). And all sightings are saved and are important for future updatings of the check-list. If more people are interested in seeing all sightings in the newsletter, let me know and we can change our policy back to what it used to be. Anything to get those sightings up!

By now the Island Nature Trust's third annual Seeds of Conservation bird feed sale will have come and gone, but if it's anything like last year's success, the Nature Trust and our wintering birds will be quite

. happy. If you missed your chance on Nov. 12, it might be worth your effort to contact the Nature Trust office at 892-7513 or 566—9150 to see if they have some bags of seed left for sale. The profits from the sale are used for the conservation of natural areas in Prince Edward Island.
