Aces Defeat Tigers 1 1-10 In Opener

The Aces defeated the Tigers 11-10 last night in the first soft- ball game of the best of three series in the semi-finals of the Knights of Columbus Softball League.

The Aces took the game in hand in the second frame sending five men home; from then on it was a pitcher's duel between Campbell and l-faughey.

The score at the start of the last half of the ninth inning was ll-i0 with the Tigers coming to bat. Campbell fanned for the first out.
